Amanita Muscaria has been used for centuries for medicinal purposes. The center of folklore from Santa to Super Mario, Amanita Muscaria contains a psychoactive compound known as muscimol. Muscimol works on our GABA-receptors to alleviate stress, bring about feelings of euphoria, relax the muscles and promote restful sleep.

In its raw form, Amanita Muscaria is toxic as it also contains a compound called Ibotenic Acid. Through extraction/decarboxylation, companies are able to convert the Ibotenic acid into Muscimol, creating a gummy that is safe to eat.
